International Circulation: The new mapping system， CARTO 3， has just appeared in China. What are the advantages of CARTO 3 compared to all the other mapping systems and how is this going to change the practice of catheter ablation?
　　《国际循环》：新的标测系统CARTO 3刚刚在中国出现。 CARTO 3与所有其他标测系统相比有何优势？这将如何改变导管消融的实践？
　　Dr Hindriks: Basically we currently have two mapping systems that are， in a way， head-to-head on the EP market: the CARTO 3 System and the NavX Velocity System. Both systems have strong points and some less strong points. The CARTO 3 is the latest innovation by Johnson & Johnson Biosense Webster in interventional electrophysiology. It is currently the leading system on the market because it gives us electroanatomical mapping information plus catheter visualization via impedance-based technology. Looking a little bit ahead， the NavX Velocity System will have the same features in the near future with the integration of MediGuide. At the end of the day， we have two very good technological platforms to support the treatment of patients with difficult-to-treat arrhythmias. I personally see a huge potential for both of these systems in China. In China we have a significant number of patients with severe arrhythmias that need to be treated using these systems.
　　Dr Hindriks：总得来说，我们目前有两种标测系统，在EP市场中在某种程度上是并驾齐驱的系统：CARTO 3系统和NavX Velocity系统。两种系统都有长处和一些不太强的方面。 CARTO 3是强生公司Biosense Webster在介入电生理方面的最新创新。这是目前市场上领先的系统，因为它带给我们电解剖标测信息，加上通过基于阻抗的技术而实现的导管可视化。展望未来，NavX Velocity系统在不久的将来藉由整合MediGuide也将具有相同的特征。归根究底，我们有两个很好的技术平台来支持难治性心律失常患者的治疗。我个人认为这两个系统在中国有着巨大的潜力。在中国，我们有相当大数量的严重心律失常患者需要采用这些系统来治疗。
　　International Circulation: In your presentation today you demonstrated the integration of the MediGuide with the NavX Velocity System. How far away is this from availability?

　　Dr Hindriks: The MediGuide installation that we have in Leipzig is the first installation worldwide. There is no other installation clinically available. I think we will see the first installations in Asia pretty soon.
