Professor Hu Da Yi:  Coming issues， the first one is we start with action.  Not only just waiting for approval for the society but I think it is best to take action first.    In our first issue we said that we should have regular and annual joint meeting between ESC and the Great Wall (Great Wall International Congress of Cardiologists).  The data of Great Wall is very close to the ESC so we have an agreement to print three big issues from ESC in China.  The first one is highlights， the second one is what is new in clinical trials， and the third what are updates in the guidelines.  The second point is that we agreed is to initiate care of the children.  Five years ago， we found poor children in remote area or rural areas who have the same thing.  The third one that the Europeans recommended that I think is good， is that not only have joint meetings in Beijing， and Shanghai -the big capitols -but to probably can work together for some middle or small sized cities to bring more information and changing opportunities for the local cardiologists or the traditional GPs.  We will have a hundred per year each year but we can enjoy it.  And also we tried to apply for the affiliated membership but we need to get the approval for both societies.  One is from your authority; the second one is our umbrella， the Chinese Medical Association.

胡大一教授：本届ESC 2009 将要讨论的议题首先是以后将采取什么行动。不是静等学会授准，而应首先开始行动。每年在ESC和长城会之间规律举办年会。长城会的内容与ESC很接近，因此可以在中国刊印3版ESC。一版为会议焦点，二版为新临床试验，三版为指南更新。第二，对儿童应采取什么样的护理方式。五年前，我们发现偏远地区或农村贫困儿童的医疗很差。第三，我认为欧洲建议中有用东西不应仅局限于北京、上海这样大的直辖市，还应推广到中、小城市普及更多的新信息，改善地方心血管医生或全科医生的医疗水平。我们还在申请附属会员资格，当然这要先获得ESC权威机构和中华医学会的批准。
